Wind Advisory through midnight: Use extra caution if you drive a ‘high profile vehicle’. These winds could bring down tree limbs,causing power outages.

Increased ‘Fire Danger warning’ through Saturday afternoon.  Breezy and dry conditions along with low humidity will increase the chances of ‘wildfires’ getting out-of-control very quickly.

Traffic alert: Expect traffic delays along Business 85 to I-73 when the Vice President travels back to PTI airport from Davidson County Community College in Thomasville. The Vice President spoke at Davidson County Community College in Thomasville earlier today.  Joe Biden joined his wife Jill Biden and the Secretary of Labor during the stop, all part of their Community College to Career Bus Tour. 

Expect to see blue…and red lights…in your rear view mirror in March.  The Winston-Salem police department will be receiving 32 new Chevy Caprice patrol cars equipped with a new light bar on top combining both red and blue lights.  BTW: Research shows that red and blue lights on police cars are more visible during daylight hours than just the blue lights. www.journalnow.com

Update: Visitation and Funeral services for 3 year old Azlynn Cretzman will be held this Monday (FEB 27) at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown.

 Visitation:  10am to noon AND from 3 to 4:30pm

The Funeral Service will start at 6pm…

 The Cretzman family (from Ontario,Canada) are Baptist missionaries raising support to serve in Cuba.   Their 3 year old little girl, Azlynn, died this past Monday morning when the family’s minivan was involved in an icy crash on I-74 in Surry County.
