WBFJ Wednesday Word

Last week, the triad awoke to an unexpected snowfall. What a nice surprise! With all the technology accessible to meteorologists these days, it may have been God’s small reminder to us that he is indeed still in control. Time is moving faster than most of us can manage to keep up with. Change is a daily occurrence. It’s amazing how a snow storm can make you realize and have an unexpected day of family and togetherness. Maybe it is God giving us a break in the mist of our daily grid that most of us keep and His way of saying, slow down.   Whatever the case, God transcends technology, weather models and even three degree guarantees, all to say I am still in control, slow down, embrace each day and trust me with your faith walk. It’s still winter, a snowfall is beautiful, but spring is on the way and a time for renewal. Officially in just 16 days. Can’t wait:)

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 – NLT)
