Crisis-trained chaplains with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team are on the ground in Orlando. The team is working with local churches in offering emotional and spiritual care to those in need after that deadly shooting inside a nightclub early Sunday morning. This is the ministry’s 5th deployment in the last nine months related to shootings in the US and globally. http://goo.gl/RuDCVd

Good News: Orlando community rises to the occasion…
Sunday exception? Workers at one Chick-Fil-A location in Orlando quietly gathered on Sunday to prepare, then hand-out chicken sandwiches (and sweet tea) as thousands of people answered the call to give blood in the wake of Sunday’s deadly shooting at a night club in Orlando. A post to the store’s Facebook page said, “We love our city and love the people in our community.”

Praying for the family of a 17-year-old male who drowned in High Rock Lake Monday afternoon. He was swimming with friends across the lake when he started struggling. One of his friends went to get help but could not find him. The group was swimming outside of the buoyed swimming area. http://goo.gl/z6aMDW
