The owner Shannon Wilson said the company’s business has been good this year: “We just added Fort Bragg and some other military contracts. Pasta eaters rejoice? A new study suggesting that pasta, within the Mediterranean Diet, isn’t necessarily associated with weight gain. The Italian researchers say earlier studies which show pasta intake contributes to weight gain are incorrect. It’s likely the salty, fat-laden sauces that are the problem. CNN

One Boston cab driver has been rewarded for ‘doing the right thing’! A patron recently left $187,000 in cash inside “Buzzy” MacCausland’s cab. Buzzy turned over the ‘bag full of money’ to the police. Turns out that the man was recently homeless and the money from the bag was an inheritance that was going to help get him back on his feet. Job well done… Fox News

Rowan County commissioners have agreed to provide a new ‘safe’ water system to the Dukeville community where residents have been using bottled water – since state regulators said their wells were contaminated.
