So-called super lice have taken over half the country and are resistant to over-the-counter treatments. If your child does get lice, experts say you don’t have to go crazy sanitizing your house. Just vacuum, especially anywhere hair might have fallen. Wash bedding in hot water and throw stuffed animals and clothing in a hot dryer for 20 to 30 minutes.

BTW: Lice can’t live without a blood supply after 24 hours.   http://goo.gl/axdtxF

At the Oscars:  Big (expected) win for Leonardo DiCaprio capturing his first statue for Best Actor. It was Leo’s 5th nomination, but his first win.

*One of the most memorable moments of the evening?

Oscar host Chris Rock came down off the stage, ushered out his daughters’ Girl Scout troop and then solicited the Hollywood elite to buy some cookies!

Rock said that his daughters had complained that they always failed to sell the most cookies in their Girl Scout troop, and he partly blamed himself for missing the all-important cookie-selling season.

Nice sales pitch.  Over $65,000 dollars of cookies were purchased!
