The show came under fire this week after co-hosts Joy Behar and Michelle Collins made negative comments about nurses based on Miss Colorado Kelley Johnson’s monologue about being a nurse during the Miss America pageant last Sunday.

In a statement, Johnson & Johnson stated…    “(we) value and appreciate nurses and we respect the critical role they play in our healthcare system. We’re committed to raising the level of awareness about the skill and knowledge that the profession requires, and we send our thanks today and every day to the millions of nurses who touch the lives of patients and their families.”

celebrating its 240th anniversary as a church community.

“This weekend’s celebration is called ‘Faith and Footwork: Looking Back and Going Forward,’” said Pastor Paul Stutzman. “Hopefully it won’t just be a time to look back and say we have 240 years and look at all the things we did in the past, but also a way to look forward and go forward.”

The church is located at 3760 Fraternity Church Road, will celebrate with homecoming events Friday through Sunday. The church will kick off homecoming with a chicken stew and camp fire service on Friday night, followed by events on Saturday, then a Sunday morning worship service and picnic.
