Great return on investment: Actress-painter Eve Plumb (she played Jan on “The Brady Bunch”) has sold her child-hood home in Malibu for $3.9 million after decades of ownership. Though she played the part of awkward middle child to a T on the sitcom, it appears the actress was quite savvy away from the set. An 11-years-old, Eve Plumb, with the help of her parents, bought the oceanfront property in 1969 for just $55,300.  http://goo.gl/Pbb45D

Truly Scrumptious! Legendary performer Dick Van Dyke doesn’t let his 90 years slow him down. Van Dyke and his quartet, The Van-tastix, were enjoying a meal together at a Denny’s in Santa Monica recently when they burst into song – a rendition of the theme to “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.”.

A tweet from Van Dyke’s Twitter account highlighted the video and said,

“Breakfast at Denny’s with a side of grits makes me want to sing!”

BTW: ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ is a 1968 British musical film loosely based on Ian Fleming’s novel about a wacky inventor and a magical car…  https://goo.gl/Kd4dri
