**One-Stop Early Voting period starts this Thursday, April 19 through Saturday, May 5. The State primary Election is Tuesday, May 8th. In order to register during a one-stop period, you must show acceptable proof of name and residence in the county. www.ncsbe.gov/content.aspx?id=61
‘Absentee ballot requests’ for the Primary Election will be accepted through May 1st (by 5pm). Requests may be mailed or faxed to your county’s Board of Elections.
