The city of Winston-Salem has banned those electric scooters. The city has to figure out how it wants to regulate the scooters; the scooter companies — only one, Bird, is here so far — have to decide whether they can live with the ‘new’ rules. City Manager Lee Garrity predicted that the scooters will return maybe as early as in the spring.

Here’s the deal: People who participate will receive 36 gifts for sending one gift that’s valued at $10. Next, you invite others to participate and you’ll allegedly receive information on where to mail your gifts.

Arrangements for Clyde Fitzgerald, the former head of Second Harvest Food Bank, have been released. Services will be held next Monday (Nov 26) at 2pm at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in downtown Winston-Salem. Donations can be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC.
