Traffic Alert: NB 52 down to one lane at Liberty Street. Expect delays over the next several weeks in downtown WS (NEWS for Monday)

Monday and Tuesday: Mostly cloudy…High 65.  Sunny and near 80 degrees for Wednesday and Thursday. 

Traffic Alert in Winston-Salem:   52 NB at Liberty Street (Exit 111)  Traffic down to one lane. (Right lane closed near the bridge construction).  Expect major traffic delays through the end of the month. Also, the entrance ramps from 25th street and Liberty streets onto NB 52 closed through the end of the month. 

An emergency  meeting regarding the closing of Tise Cottage will be held TONIGHT at 6pm on the campus of the Children’s Home on Reynolda Road.  Anyone interested in:  supporting, donating or asking questions about the closing of Tise Cottage is encouraged to attend tonight’s meeting.   WXII reporting that Tise Cottage could be closing after the Easter break. BTW: Tise Cottage is the only weekend ‘respite care home’ for special needs children of its kind in the Triad.      Questions?  Call 721-7625.

“March Madness”: Now, to the NCAA Division 1 ‘brackets’:  68 teams… Carolina and Duke will be playing their regional games in Greensboro on Friday afternoon.  NC State, FSU and Virginia are also going to the ‘Big Dance’ of 68 teams.
