The Salem Congregation, which owns and maintains (old) Salem Moravian Graveyard brought nine tracts of land (or close to 5 acres) near God’s Acre from Salem Academy and College. According to the Forsyth County Register of Deeds, the tracts are east of the Salem Academy campus at the intersection of East Salem Avenue and Rams Drive.
The nonprofit group completed a land purchase earlier in the week

So with current trends being 50% cremation and 50% burial among those eligible for interment in the graveyards, “we believe there is enough room for another 100 years.”
