Couple makes ‘pit stop’ at Chick-Fil-A on their way to have a baby?

Wess and Lacey Cope were on their way to Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, when they took a little detour around 8:30am Monday morning.

Wess shared that, “(Lacey) was relaxed, and I was starving.”

“If you want Chick-fil-A to move fast, tell them your wife’s in labor. They did.”

Lacey was calm (the couples already has 3 children) after Wess requested to make a quick stop to pick up chicken nuggets, hash browns, and a sweet tea.

Update: Little ‘Finn Sullivan Cope’ was born at 4:02pm Monday afternoon…just minutes before the end of the ‘total’ eclipse in Charlotte. https://goo.gl/CdXTUn

Back to School: have you spotted those ‘yellow’ school buses, yet??

Know the law.  Keep our kids safe…

Both directions of traffic must STOP for a stopped school bus…

-On a two lane road

-On a two lane road with a center turn lane

-On a four lane road without a median

Brush up on current NC School Bus ‘Stop’ Laws at the News Blog

Exception: You only stop on a four lane road in the opposite direction of the bus if there is NO median or turn lane. To learn more about school bus safety and rules check out the News Blog   http://www.ncbussafety.org/index.html

Reminder: North Carolina law requires ‘all’ children in the state to receive certain immunizations.  Records are checked when children enter Kindergarten.

*Parents have 30 calendar days from the first day of attendance to present the required up-to-date immunization record for their child.

Check out the details on the News Blog… http://www.immunize.nc.gov/schools/schools.htm

*North Carolina law provides for two types of exemptions from required

immunizations: medical and religious. Learn more…
