The Barnabas Network in Greensboro needs your help. Donations of sheets, blankets and comforters… (News for Monday)

Your WBFJ Family Station Forecast: Cloudy with a chance of showers this afternoon. High 68

The Barnabas Network in Greensboro is stepping up big-time this Christmas season.  Over the past year, the Barnabas Network has given beds to more than 1,000 people, but donations to the organization are dwindling while more and more people are asking for assistance.  That’s why the organization is asking for
donations of sheets, blankets and comforters to give kids a place to sleep.   Drop
off info at www.thebarnabasnetwork.org.

High Point Regional is now restricting visitors who are under the age of 18 to prevent the spread of the flu. The age restrictions do not apply to lobbies, waiting areas and patient rooms.   The policy does not apply to children who need emergency care or hospitalization.  All individuals entering the hospital are required to ‘sanitize’ their hands.  More details: www.highpointregional.com

Serving the community through the “Tricia Creasey Foundation”.   Tricia  Creasey, a teacher who taught for 16 years at Brown Middle in Davidson County, passed away last February after a long battle with colon cancer, is still helping others through a foundation set up by her family.  You may remember back in 2009,
the Creasey family was surprised by ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”. Event:  TONIGHT (DEC 10) and next Monday night (DEC 17): Needy
families are invited to enjoy a FREE meal – hosted by the Creasy foundation – at
the Brown Middle School cafeteria.
