Forsyth County is holding a public electronic auction sale starting at 8 a.m. this morning (Oct. 9). The county is also selling vehicles and equipment on Nov. 4 starting at 10 a.m. (conducted by Mendenhall Auction).
Some of the vehicles for sale are fleet cars, pickup trucks and dump trucks. Mendenhall Auction will hold a preview from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 3 at 1200 Fairchild St., off Liberty Street, in Winston-Salem. This is for folks wanting to look at the vehicles and equipment before the sale.
For anyone in need of a patient transport chair or a pallet of sinks and toilets, the county has them for sale. Other items include 60 stationary chairs, assorted dust mops and mop heads, 60 rolling office chairs, eight pallets of computer towers and monitors, three pieces of assorted gym equipment, a shop vac, a chipper/shredder, a drill press with accessories, 19 desks of various sizes, a cart containing boxes of cable and wire, three blotter printers, a pallet of collapsible stretchers, two pallets of paint, a commercial refrigerator, a vision tester and three couches.
