Suffer from social anxiety? Try fermented foods.

Researchers at William and Mary found that college students who ate foods like sauerkraut, pickles even yogurt report fewer social anxiety symptoms.

The researchers suspect it’s all about the “good” bacteria, or probiotics, in the food. More specifically, they think the bacteria triggers a neurotransmitter called GABA, which is used in anti-anxiety drugs.   BTW: The study is just the latest to suggest that our gut has a real effect on our mental health.    http://goo.gl/e9xzs7
