School bus accident causes minor damage near Kimmel Farm Elementary…

According to Fox 8 news: a school bus crashed into a ditch at 4600 Ebert Road off Friedberg Church Road near Winston-Salem around 7:30 a.m.  Troopers said the bus went into the ditch to avoid car that had crossed the center line.

No students were on board the bus, although the driver was injured, troopers said.  Rhonda Fleming, the transportation director of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, said the driver injured her finger. The damage to the bus was minor, Fleming said.

Fleming said the bus was number 728 leaving Kimmel Farm Elementary School.
