 ‘Heartstrings’ provides encouragement and support for those who have lost a baby (from conception to one year of age).  Grief-related counseling and education is also available.  

 The 7th annual ‘Walk to Remember’ will be held at Triad Park  in Kernersville on Saturday, Oct 08, 2011.  The event is open to the community.

Jennifer Sands lost her husband (Jim) on 9/11. He worked on the 103rd floor of Tower One (WTC)in New York City. Jennifer has written three books since 9/11 and will be sharing her testimony at a church in Orlando, Florida this Sunday, Sept 11. www.jennifersands.com

Frank Ancona lost his sister in Tower One in New York City on 9/11. Frank shares how Christ is the true way to forgiveness. (Frank is a teacher at Parkland High School in Winston-Salem and the pastor of New Directions Christian Fellowship)

Kristy Jackson’s song “Little Did She Know, She’d Kissed a Hero” was the #1 requested song on some of the largest radio stations in New York City since 9/11. Kristy is a singer / songwriter who lives in Greensboro. She also volunteers with the Red Cross Disaster action team.
