Broch Baltzer – Talking about his recent mission trip to Haiti with YWAM (Youth with a Mission). Broch is 20 years old.
Back on January 12th, Haiti’s capital city (Port-au-Prince) was devastated by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. An estimated 220,000 people died in the earthquake and another 300,000 more were injured. Nearly 290,000 homes were damaged or destroyed. 1.3 million people have been displaced. Some are calling the Haiti earthquake one of the worst natural disasters ever.
YWAM or ‘Youth With A Mission’ is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds, cultures and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus Christ throughout the world. YWAM’s mission: ”to know God and to make Him known”

Fact: Churches are the number one users of wireless systems in the country, with 90% of churches (nationwide) having at least one wireless (mic) system.
A new FCC rule requires that anyone using a wireless microphone that operates in the 700 MHz band (which was auctioned off to companies like Verizon and AT&T;) to stop operating their wireless mics (or devises) no later than June 12th of this year.
