Running A Business with a ‘Higher’ Purpose…

Emily and Keith Davis recently welcomed their third child into the world, moved their Fleet Feet Sports franchise store, and opened a New Balance store all over a five-month span.

“No more big projects,” Emily Davis recalled saying to her husband after that span of time. “This is it.”

The Davises said they own one of the top 20 Fleet Feet stores out of more than 130 locations in the country and have never had a down year.

While the stores are the couple’s livelihood, Keith Davis said that they “are more about how far-reaching can we make the business? How many people can we help?”

He believes they have been successful in business primarily because they have been blessed and have been true to their four-point mission to create an iconic customer experience; a workplace that enables healthy, balanced lifestyles; a catalytic engine for community improvement; and a family business based on Christian values.
