Only 8 votes separated Mit Romney and Rick Santorum in last night’s Iowa Caucuses.  Ron Paul finishing third as the top GOP candidates for President re-focus their attention toward New Hampshire.  Rick Perry is heading back to Texas to decide whether he will continue his Presidential bid. Actually, the final count in Iowa wasn’t announced until 2am this morning. FYI: Since 1976, only three winners of the Iowa Caucuses have gone on to become President:  Jimmy Carter, George Bush, Sr. and President Obama. 

Just get moving.  Children who get more exercise tend to do better in school. According to new international study, exercise, no matter if at recess, scheduled PE classes or after school, just helps the overall child.  The bad news, schools in the US have been cutting physical activity time in favor of more academic testing preparation.  http://news.yahoo.com/want-kids-better-school-try-exercise-054704185.html

Starting next Monday, the City of Winston-Salem will begin delivering large roll out recycling carts as part of its transition to bi-weekly curbside recycling. However, residents should still their green carry-out bins through April 2.  FYI: The city tested rollout recycling in some neighborhoods over the past three years. The Good Word: #1 in Norway for 2011.  The first translation of the Bible in over 30 years in Norway is out-selling its competition. Allstate Insurance is canceling thousands of homeowners policies, if you don’t also have auto insurance through the company.   46,000 individual policies will be dropped inNorth Carolina. Allstate decided early in 2011 that it would drop homeowner policies which weren’t bundled with an auto insurance policy, starting with policies that renewed on or after June 19. BTW:  N.C. (Triad) IMAP is recommending (because of the recent blast of cold weather) that we check the air pressure in our tires after an increase in flat tires around the Triad this week.  Tires lose air pressure in colder temperatures.
