Protest turned to vandalism at a Chick-Fil-A in Frederick, Maryland.   The vandalism occurred over the weekend when same-sex marriage supporters decorated the store with a gay pride flag and glued pro ‘same-sex marriage’ stickers to the windows of the restaurant.  Earlier this month, a 30-year-old man of West Hollywood, Calif., was arrested for reportedly spray painting “tastes like hate” on the side of a Chick-fil-A in Torrance, Calif.  These aggressive acts of protest come after Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy confirmed in early July that, according to his Christian faith, he firmly supports traditional marriage.  www.christianpost.com/news/md-chick-fil-a-vandalized-over-ceos-christian-beliefs-on-marriage-79933/

When it comes to discipleship, those who regularly attend church struggle with sharing Christ with non-Christians. The study conducted by LifeWay Research found that 80 percent of those who attend church one or more times a month believe they have a personal responsibility to share their faith, but less than half have talked with another person about how to become a Christian in the previous six months.
Three-quarters of churchgoers say they feel comfortable in their ability to effectively communicate the Gospel, while 12 percent say they don’t feel comfortable telling others about their faith. FYI: Maturity matters?  “While new Christians may find
it natural to share their new Christian experience, mature Christians do it
intentionally.”      www.bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?id=38491
