A note attached to the ring reads“In all seasons, my husband was a giver. I especially remember his joy in giving at Christmas-time, especially to those in need. (I’m donating this ring)…to honor his memory…”   BTW: The ring is worth $1,850.**After hearing about this story, an anonymous donor (and former bell ringer) plans on buying the woman’s engagement ring for over 10 times the value ($21,000)…donate the money to the Salvation Army…then return the ring to the widow.     http://goo.gl/xzETQy
