Big Honor: Jerry Moore, former head football coach at App State, will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame tonight in New York.  Moore (age 75) coached 24 seasons at ASU – coaching teams to three national championships and a story book win over Michigan. Moore reflecting on his life… “…I never would have imagined — as a 21-year-old, newly-married high-school assistant coach — that I would be attending a hall of fame ceremony. ***“Back then, we just wanted to eat,” Moore said. “Margaret (his wife) was teaching fifth grade and I was coaching. But we had the world by the tail. It was awesome.”  Moore has received “a ton” of congratulatory calls and e-mails from coaches and former players. “A lot of the guys I coached, even in high school, have called or sent a note,” Moore said. “Margaret and I call them kids, and some of them are in their 60s now. It’s just been incredible.”  http://goo.gl/MajWcj
