The Massachusetts Supreme Court heard oral arguments yesterday on whether the Pledge of Allegiance should be BANNED in that state. The American Humanist Association representing an anonymous atheist couple told justices that atheist children “are denied meaningful participation in this patriotic exercise” because the language refers to “God”.
