Reinventing?  McDonald’s has begun offering table service in some 50 restaurants in the US. Seems that this new service is popular with customers  overseas. You come into the restaurant, order food at a touchscreen kiosk, then go to a table to wait for your meal to be brought over.

Prayer concern: An incoming Freshman at Southern Guilford High School died suddenly on Thursday after collapsing during cross-country practice.  Allison Brown was only 14 years old. Grief counselors were on-hand at the school on Friday. http://goo.gl/GSRR28

State officials have suspended live bird shows and public live bird sales from Aug. 15 to Jan. 15 due to the potential threat of avian influenza or Bird Flu.
