Novant Health is cutting up to 400 positions system wide (or about 2% of their workforce) all part of a reorganization move started last fall. The Novant system has 25,000 employees, including about 5,000 in the Triad. http://goo.gl/Xgtb2P

Could be in Kansas? An anonymous donor is offering a $1 million dollar reward for information leading to the recovery of the ruby-red slippers that Judy Garland wore in the The Wizard of Oz. The famous slippers were stolen back in 2005 from a museum in her hometown of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
