Former TV Anchor Lee Kinard passed away over the weekend. Kinard was 86.

A big ‘come-from-behind win for the Carolina Panthers…

The Panthers overcame a 17-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Eagles 21-17 on Sunday.  The Panthers improved to 4-2 with the biggest comeback in franchise history. The defending Super Bowl champion Eagles fell to 3-4.

App State Football landing in the Top 25 (#25) for first time in program history.

The Mountaineers (5-1, 3-0 in the Sun Belt Conference) are among the top teams in Division-I football.  App State beat the Ragin’ Cajuns of Louisiana, 27-17 in Boone on Saturday.  Next: App State travels to Statesboro, Georgia taking on Georgia Southern this Thursday night at 7:30pm (ESPNU).

Endless giving:  A customer left a server at a hot dog shop in Greenville, NC a very generous ‘tip’ on Friday…$10,000 dollars in cash.

Jimmy Donaldson (a YouTube star known as MrBeast with nearly 9 million subscribers) ordered two waters, browsed the menu and then left 100 – $100 dollar bills – and a note that read; “Thanks for the delicious water,” WRAL reported.

NOTE: The server (Alaina Custer, an ECU server) was blown away…and generous. She kept $800 for herself and split the rest of the $10,000 with her co-workers.

BTW: ‘Sup Dogs’ in downtown Greenville is a favorite of locals and ECU students
