Brent Taylor – a major in Utah’s Army National Guard deployed to Afghanistan – was fatally shot by one of his Afghan trainees over the weekend. Taylor’s body is being flown back to the US, scheduled to arrive at Dover Air Force Base later today. The 39-year-old leaves behind a wife and seven children.
A unique coffee shop has opened in Greensboro.

The battered Deacs: Wake Forest’s freshman quarterback Sam Hartman will miss the rest of the season with a leg injury suffered near the end of Wake’s loss to Syracuse 41-24.
