Tropical Storm Irma: Tropical Cyclone is gaining strength off the Carolina coast.

UPDATE:  The National Hurricane Center has issued a Tropical Storm Watch from Myrtle Beach, SC to Wilmington, NC.

*The heaviest rain from Tropical Storm Irma should fall tonight into Tuesday in eastern North Carolina. Isolated tornadoes are possible with wind gusts as high as 50 or 55mph along the coast (especially the Outer Banks).

The storm should move away from the Outer Banks late Tuesday.
