Meekness, not weakness: "Full House" star explains Biblical 'submission' role in new book

“Full House” star Candace Cameron Bure has written a book that is generating some conversation. Her book “Balancing It All: My Story of Juggling Priorities and Purpose,” is all about her life as a working wife and mom. Candice says that “I am not a passive person, but I chose to fall into a more submissive role in our (traditional marriage) relationship because I wanted to do everything in my power to make my marriage and family work,” the actress writes in her book. The definition I’m using with the word ‘submissive’ is the biblical definition.  So, it is meekness, it is not weakness. It is strength under control. Candace Cameron Bure has been married to professional hockey player Val Bure for 17 years and they have three children. BTW: Candice is the sister to “Growing Pains” and ‘Fireproof’ star Kirk Cameron.  Candice is best remembered for her role as D.J. Tanner on “Full House”.  BTW: Candace Cameron Bure is the featured speaker at the Winter Blues Conference at First Christian Church in Kernersville – JAN 25.    http://myfox8.com/2014/01/08/full-house-star-says-she-is-submissive-to-her-husband/
