March Madness invades the Triad (NEWS for Thursday)

Thousands of Christians are gathering together in California today to pray for Hollywood.  “The-Cry-Hollywood” prayer event is aimed at praying over the entertainment industry because of the huge influence the industry has on our culture. Organizers are urging for all Christians to pause sometime today and pray for the entertainment industry.   RnR

 “March Madness”  Men’s NCAA Division I Tournament (Get your brackets filled out by NOON today!!)  Team practice for Carolina and Duke this afternoon at the Greensboro Coliseum s FREE and open to the public:  UNC @ 2:15pm…Duke @ 4:25pm.  Carolina and Duke will play their regional games in Greensboro on Friday.  All 5 ACC teams play on Friday. One church in Florida has cancelled its plans to build a $15 million dollar worship center.  Instead, Cape Christian Fellowship, feeling the financial pain of their city, plans to build a 100,000-square-foot park for Cape Coral. Fellowship Park will include the city’s first amphitheater, a splash pad, four children’s playgrounds, sports and multi-purpose fields, a zip line, a jogging trail, a pavilion and a cafe. Fellowship Park will be built and maintained by the church…and Open to the Public. Cape Coral is ranked as one of the top cities in the nation hit hard by foreclosure and unemployment rates.   RnR
BTW:Cape Christian Fellowship is the largest Mennonite Church in the U.S.
