How much vacation time do you use?
According to a Glassdoor survey, the average U.S. worker has used only HALF of their eligible vacation time during the past 12 months.
The top reasons for not taking vacation time: No one else can do our job, a fear of getting behind and we are afraid of losing our job.
Fact: The typical US worker at a private company is given 10 days of paid vacation and 6 paid holidays. In France and England, employees are given up to 30 vacation days.
Still connected: Over half (61%) of us who take time off are ‘still working during vacation’… because of being connected by our digital devices.
