Kale: Not as good as we once thought ???

We all know about the benefits of Kale – its’ high fiber, iron, rich in vitamins A & C, calcium and its’ cancer-fighting properties.

However, it could actually be doing you more harm than good.  Kale can cause bloating, slow down your metabolism, affect your thyroid and even cause kidney stones.  Kale is one of the hardest vegetables for your stomach to digest.

Rather than give up on Kale altogether – simply try cooking instead of raw.  Red leaf lettuce, baby spinach and even broccoli provide similar nutritional benefits and are kinder on your digestive system.
