Starting this month, the Hotel Indigo in Newcastle, England will be replacing traditional hard-back Bibles in their nightstands…with the Bible loaded on Kindle e-readers.  Each of the hotel’s 148 rooms will be outfitted with a Kindle Touch with Wi-Fi. Heart attack.  That’s the official cause of death for legendary actor Andy Griffith.  The 86 year old creator of “The Andy Griffith Show” passed away this past Tuesday.  Griffith was buried the same day at the Griffith Family Cemetery in Manteo. www.news-record.com/content/2012/07/05/article/death_certificate_andy_griffith_died_of_a_heart_attack

Traffic: Greensboro:  Lanes on I-40, U.S. 29 to close for soil testing.  Workers will begin nightly lane closures on Interstate 40 and U.S. 29 in Greensboro starting Monday so they can perform soil tests related to a future bridge replacement project. The lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. until 4 am?. until July 25, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation.  Here’s the schedule:

• July 9-12: The left lanes of U.S. 29 near I-40 West.

• July 15-16: The right lanes of U.S. 29 near I-40 West.

• July 17-19: The right lane of I-40 West near U.S. 29.

• July 22-24: The left lane of I-40 West near U.S. 29.

• July 25: The I-40 West off-ramp toMartin Luther King Drivenear U.S. 29.
