The City of Greensboro has big plans for PTI Airport. However, in an effort to benefit the entire Triad, they are gauging the interest of the other two major cities, Winston-Salem and High Point, to see if they’re interested in making it a group effort.

 

Gas Prices

Gas prices are expected to go back up 20 to 50 cents by mid-spring.  Currently the average price is $2.09 a gallon.  Experts are saying by summer we could be up to over $3.00.

 

Are drugs stifling women?

Modern women are suffering from an energy crisis. Mysterious Kazakhstan Sleeping Sickness ‘Could Spread’

A professor is investigating the causes of the mysterious sleeping disorder affecting hundreds.  Believes that the disease could spread, and admits that scientists are still unsure as to what is causing it. His warning comes as the ninth wave of the unidentified illness hit the area this week.

Those affected by the illness very suddenly fall asleep at any time of day or night, and often it is not possible to wake them for a few days. Some remember nothing when they awake and complain of drowsiness, while others say they experienced terrifying hallucinations.

Buddy Holly plane crash ‘review’ by US transport panel

The plane crash that claimed the lives of three rock ‘n’ roll stars, including Buddy Holly, could be investigated afresh by US transport safety experts.

The 22-year-old Holly, Ritchie Valens and Jiles P Richardson – known as the Big Bopper – died in a crash shortly after take-off in Iowa in 1959.

How Much Sugar

How much sugar should we be consuming on a daily basis? New guidelines say sugar should only be 5 to 10 percent of overall calories. For the average American diet, that would mean we would have to cut sugar intake by about two-thirds. The recommendations don’t apply to naturally occurring sugars in fruit, vegetables and milk.
