Big ‘Secret Santa’ toy donation will make Christmas a little brighter for kids in
the Triad. A couple of ‘good Samaritans’ stopped by the Salvation Army warehouse in Winston-Salem on Tuesday morning to drop off thousands of toys and yes even Bibles. The Salvation Army will help about 18,000 children throughout the triad this Christmas. Trading-in textbooks for tablets: Guilford County schools is getting a $30 million dollar grant to advance technology in the classroom. Instead of textbooks, students
will utilize educational software loaded onto a tablet device. The grant money will
