Study: Most people can NOT walk ‘straight’ while texting? Researchers in Australia found that healthy people who read or send texts while walking actually start walking like a ‘robot’… “they swerve more, walk more slowly and move their heads, arms and torsos in a stiff, making them more prone to falling when confronted with an obstacle”. A Davie County Sheriff Deputy and his K9 dog were shot last night during a hostage situation. Authorities say the incident began after deputies tried to serve a warrant to the suspect. Deputy Chris Fleming was shot in the upper right arm and is in stable condition at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  A true HERO  –   Eight-year-old Tyler Doohan spent his last moments saving other people’s lives, six in all. His relatives’ mobile home in upstate New York caught fire, while he was sleeping over there, and he got most of them out, including two young children. Then, Tyler went back into the burning home to get his grandfather, who he was very attached to – and who was also disabled. The heat and smoke was too much.
