Eating out, adds up.  Despite recent tough economic times, last year over half of  employees in the US regularly spend a $1,000 dollars a year on coffee.  Also, 66% of Americans buy their lunch every day. Retired NFL quarterback Kurt earner will host a new reality show on the USA Network that will give contestants the chance to pursue their dream careers.  The show, titled “The Moment,” will feature contestants who have been secretly nominated by close friends and families. Congratulations to Wibur & Theresa Faiss of Las Vegas, Nevada, they are the winners of the “Longest Married Couple” a contest by Worldwide Marriage Encounter Wilbur and Theresa have been married 77 years (with their anniversary coming up on Feb. 11th ).  The Nevada couple met at a roller skating rink in Centralia, IL in 1930.  Wilbur said it was “love at first sight.”  http://www.christiannewswire.com/news/2235818764.html

Another school merger:   Two private schools in our area,TriadAcademy andSummit school, will merge.  The Winston-Salem Journal reporting that students at Triad Academy will finish the year at their Friedberg Church Road location, but attend classes at Summit in August.    

Now that Governor Bev Perdue will NOT run for re-election in November …who are some of the possible Democratic candidates that may run for Governor? Lt. Gov. On a case by case basis, Twitter will start restricting Tweets in specific countries -if that country protests a specific viewpoint.
