Erin's Victory Dance

You may remember our conversation on the Morning Show a few weeks ago with Laurie Edwards from Thomasville, NC. It was her daughter Erin Browning whose battle with cancer inspired the Casting Crowns song “Praise You in This Storm”. Erin went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2004.

On October 14, Erin’s sister Mary Beth is hosting a formal dance in Erin’s honor. All of the proceeds will benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman, where Erin spent a week shortly before she passed away. You can find out more about the dance and Erin’s legacy by going to the website below.

I have three awesome kids – Andrew, Carley and Laura. My husband, Alton, is a delivery driver by day with dreams of one day publishing his own comic book. Yes, he is a geek, but I love him anyway.

I have been working at WBFJ since September 2004 when God threw me out of the boat I was riding in and set me on a new and wonderful course. I love co-hosting the morning show, although the lack of sleep does make me a bit loopy at times.
