Going ‘GOLD’ for cancer awareness? Several buildings in downtown Winston-Salem including City Hall, the Nissen Building and the Krispy Kreme corporate office on Knollwood Street will illumine their buildings with “gold” lighting Friday night.
“Light It Up -Gold” is a campaign to raise awareness of childhood cancer and the ongoing need for cancer research.
BTW: Cancer is the #1 ‘killer’ of children in the United States.
