Update on Bill Bloxham, the homeless man in Winston-Salem who was brutally attacked by three teenagers back in January…
*Bill remains in ICU with serious injuries. After a brief setback with pneumonia, Bill is responding well to treatment. Bill is scheduled for surgery on his eye on Friday (Feb 10).

Back story: Bill Bloxham has been homeless for the last four years. Bill received his Bachelor of Music degree in 1980 from the School of the Arts. Once deemed a trombone prodigy by friends, the now 59-year-old Bloxham remains hospitalized in intensive care with a shattered orbital bone and a punctured lung. Bloxham was sleeping under the Glade Street bridge, next to Hanes Park, when he was severely assaulted by at least three Reynolds High School teens, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
Tremayne Butler, 18, Treshawn Plater, 17 and Decorus Roundtree, 16, have been charged with felony assault inflicting serious bodily injury. https://goo.gl/FRukJd
