Check out the latest overseas Travel Warnings from the US State Department (Violent protests continue at US Embassies)

Update:  More violent protests at US embassies overseas.  Violent protests in several Islamic nations were sparked by a 14-minute trailer, posted on YouTube, from a film demeaning the Prophet Muhammad. US warships are making their way to northern Africa and the Arabian Sea. (The Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans were killed on Tuesday after ‘protestors’ attacked the US Consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi.)  CBN News   http://www.foxnews.com/index.html               Check out the latest Travel Warnings from the US State Department: http://travel.state.gov/travel/travel_1744.html

New York City’s Board of Health passed a ‘controversial’ ban on the sale of over-sized sugary drinks in the Big Apple. The ban includes any non-diet sodas and sweetened teas served in containers larger than 16 ounces.  The ban in
NYC affects almost any restaurant or food vendor that sells prepared food.   Supermarkets and most convenience stores will be exempt. Critics are crying fowl – saying its too much government intrusion. BTW: If you drink a regular soda a day for a year…that adds up to around 14,600 calories a year…or about four pounds of ‘fat’ to a person’s body. http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/healthscience/2012/September/Big-Gulps-Banned-in-the-Big-Apple-/
