 A Nor’easter is coming:  Parts of the Northeastern US are bracing for a major winter storm through late Tuesday.  Blizzard Warnings have been posted along the coastal areas of New Jersey to Massachusetts.  (NWS) (Fox 8)  Delays even cancellations are being reported at PTI as well as in Raleigh and Charlotte. Please check the status of your flight before heading to the airport.

When it comes to US cities that embrace the Bible, Birmingham, Alabama, tops the list. The annual report from the American Bible Society finds that Birmingham residents have the highest combined levels of regular Bible reading and expressed belief in the Bible’s accuracy. Charlotte coming in at #8 on the list. A mom’s group staged a peaceful protest at the Myer’s park Harris Teeter in Charlotte over the weekend demanding that the grocery store chain stop allowing customers from openly carrying guns into its stores.  By law, gun owners in North Carolina can openly carry firearms in most public places.  A permit is needed for concealed carry.  www.journalnow.com
