Better ‘late’ than never? Nathan Tabor’s congressional bid got off to a rough start yesterday. State officials said Tabor was too late when he dashed into a room at the N.C. Board of Elections office inRaleigh to file as a candidate for the 6th Congressional District seat now held by Republican Howard Coble. Filing closed at noon on Wednesday. Tabor, who disputes that he was too late, plans to appeal the decision.
