UPDATE: Patterson Street is back OPEN while Haz-Mat crews work to clean up a chemical spill at Eco-flo, the city’s hazardous waste drop-off site. The Greensboro News and Record reporting that Patterson was closed from S. “Love, Suzanne” an organization in Thomasville is collecting gently used prom dresses and accessories for area teen girls who might not be able to go to their junior/senior prom because they can’t afford a new dress. Donations of cleaned dresses and accessories can be dropped off at Thomasville Medical center and Finch YMCA through March 28th. Both Romney and Santorum share Super Tuesday momentum. Mitt Romney padded his delegate count last night winning six states (and close to 200 delegates) in the biggest night of the GOP presidential primary season. Rick Santorum demonstrated enough strength to remain in the race. A candidate will need 1,144 delegates to get the Republican nomination. RnR
