Apple /Google flaw fix…One group of people has been praying 365 days for their city…The Shoe Project (WED News)

It’s been 365 days and counting of prayer in the center of a Ukraine city. Men and women of different Christian denominations have been coming together to kneel on the cold, hard asphalt to pray for peace.

Apple and Google say they have developed fixes for a newly discovered security flaw affecting mobile devices and Mac computers. They have dubbed the flaw “Freak,” and it could enable hackers to spy on communications of users of Apple’s Safari browser and the stock Android phone browser. Apple says their patch will be available next week and Google has already pushed out a patch to device makers and mobile carriers.

An Ohio teenager is putting shoes on hundreds of those who have none halfway around the world.  John Ferguson simply saw a need and is working to fill it. His mom came home from a missions trip and told him stories of the children crying for shoes. So last year John heard that a group of  College students were planning a medical relief trip to the African nation of Gambia, he wanted to help. Created his own humanitarian charity – The Shoe Project –Its motto: “Changing lives, one sole at a time.”  For more information, go to Ferguson’s website: www.theshoeproject.org
