Anthony's Plot invites everyone to celebrate 'Festival of Shelters' in downtown WS

EVENT: The community of Anthony’s Plot will be spending the next several days and nights (thru WED, Sept 25) in a vacant lot on 5th Street across from the Public Library in downtown Winston-Salem to celebrate their 3rd annual “Festival of Shelters”.  *Everyone welcome. Donations of supply bottled water  and snacks appreciated. 

The “Feast of Shelters” or ‘Celebration of Sukkot’ (sue – coat)  the harvest festival marking the time when the Israelites wandered in tents through the wilderness between Egypt and the Promised Land. This Week on Sunday @ 5  –  Guest: Russ May with ‘Anthony’s Plot’                 …an intentional (Book of Acts) Christian Community located in the South Side of Winston-Salem.  Russ felt led to leave his traditional job as pastor of a local church to venture out on a spirit led journey known as “Anthony’s Plot”.    BTW: “Anthony’s Plot” is based on the story of Anthony Ulrich, a freed slave who asked Count Zinzendorf to send missionaries to share the gospel with Anthony’s family in St. Thomas.
