Dentists nationwide have reported a drop in regular checkups by families who are unable to afford tips to the dentist.
Locally, Kingery & Kingery in Clemmons wants to keep dental visits affordable by offering a low, flat yearly rate, with no insurance needed.
Maya Pounds (scheduling coordinator with Kingery & Kingery) gave WBFJ some of the specifics: For $339 a year, patients receive 2 exams, 2 simple teeth cleanings, necessary xrays & free take home whitening. They also get a 15% discount on all dental procedures & a 10% discount on orthodontic care. If they want to add family to the membership, it is $289 for each dependant. There are some exclusions & limitations such as anything we would refer to a specialist.
VERSE: “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD” Psalm 150
QUOTE: “A person who loves his job, will never work a day in his life.”
