Wednesday Word: "One Of Those Days"

Today is just “one of those days”… no, not that kind – this kind.  There is no birthday to celebrate, anniversary to commemorate, graduation to salute or loved one to cherish.  All those things are good and have their place in this timeline of life.  Yet so many more of our days are a lot like this one – nothing special, just “one of those days”.

You know, the older I get, these are the days I learn to appreciate a little more.  These hours “in between” are the times that not only reflect our true being and prepare us for the next event, but this is the point in our lives that define us.  How do we choose to spend these moments that are more or less at our disposal?

Where I find God today will enable to see Him more clearly in those times when my vision is slightly more cluttered.

Yes, before the year is out – I will attend more weddings, funerals, graduations and birthday parties.  Since today is just “one of those days”, I think I will look for every opportunity to rejoice and be glad….How about you?
