Update: Teen curfew reinstated in downtown Greensboro

UPDATE: The Greensboro City Council has decided to re-instate a teen curfew in downtown Greensboro after 11 young people were arrested in a series of fights last Saturday night. The Council voted 8-1 (during an emergency meeting Wednesday morning) to keep teens 17 years old and younger out of downtown Greensboro after 11 p.m. Councilwoman T. Dianne Bellamy-Small cast the lone dissenting vote. The curfew is effective immediately in the downtown area.   The curfew is NOT citywide. FYI: The last Downtown Greensboro teen curfew was enforced from January 2011 to January 2012.    www.wxii12.com/news/local-news/piedmont/greensboro-city-council-to-discuss-reestablishing-teen-curfew
